Secret addresses from stylish people. This week: Yasmin Le Bon. The Carlyle Hotel - New York I went back to stay here recently and really loved it. It's on the Upper East Side and very old-school. Old-fashioned service is what I really want from a hotel. I don't want hip, cool and trendy.
thecarlyle.com Hamiltons - London, W1 I must have spent an absolute fortune in this contemporary art and photography gallery over the past 23 years. I've got all sorts, from Norman Parkinsons and Baileys to Irving Penns and a beautiful painting by James Nares that is quite gorgeous.
020 7499 9493 Circa - London SW6 A beautifully edited collection of vintage clothing and handbags – every piece is hand-picked. The favourite thing I've got from here is a black chiffon Sophia Loren-esque spaghetti-strap dress. Very sexy – well, I think it is.
020 7736 5038 John Sandoe Books - London SW3 Just off the King's Road is this higgledy-piggledy independent bookshop with incredibly knowledgeable and well-read staff. Definitely something to love and to cherish.
020 7589 9473 Solange Azagury Partridge - New York This store is absolutely fantastic: it's gorgeous, and full of delectable jewellery. When I visited recently I happily tripped out with a lovely gold fringe ring.
