There's skin in the game for Valentine's Day scavenger hunt -- contestants will seek out nude paintings at Art Institute Here's a 100 percent guaranteed way to ensure your Valentine's Day involves nudity. But, alas, there will be no touching. www.google.com The folks at Watson Adventures, who specialize in brain-teasing scavenger hunts, are offering up a Valentine's Day traipse through the Art Institute of Chicago with a naughty emphasis on all things "naked." Participants -- typically couples or small groups -- must be adults and they must be fully clothed as they make their way through the museum, answering a series of "witty, amusing" questions about the art. Although know-it-all artsy types are welcome, you don't have to know a thing about art to play. Here's a sample question: "Which painting's title sounds like it could be a tabloid headline about a Cubs' bullpen scandal?" Answer: Picasso's "Nude with Pitcher." So what's the deal, are the scavenger folks obsessed with sex? "Don't tell my husband, but no," said Rachel Duncan, Watson Adventures' "Hunt Producer." "We just really think it's a great way to see the museum. It's really just a different way of looking at [art]. We're not doing anything offensive to the art." The scavenger hunts are set up in museums in larger cities across the United States. Participants aren't simply set loose in the museum. Typically, there are about 25 to 30 questions, and there's an emcee to make sure everyone is on track, Duncan said. The winner is the group or couple who get the most correct answers in about a two-hour time period. The prize? A signed Picasso? No. A vacation for two at a nudist colony? No. A gift certificate for another scavenger hunt in any of the cities involved. The Valentine's scavenger hunts cost $24.50 per person (which includes admission to the museum) and runs from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 13 and 14. You don't need a date to take part.
