A collection of prints created by Falmouth Arts Society has gone on display at Falmouth Art Gallery. The works were produced during an artist led print workshop at the gallery. Distinguished St Ives artist Naomi Frears, who is based at the historic Porthmeor Studios, led the one day workshop, funded by the Little Parc Owles Trust. The workshop saw Falmouth Arts society members dive into the world of Intaglio Printing, inspired by their response to the Art Fund Hugh Stoneman Archive exhibition. Margaret Collier, Chair of the Falmouth Arts Society commented, “We had an exciting and instructive time, your team and Naomi were inspiring and very helpful. We were very pleased with the results” The exhibition of the work is currently on display in the staircase gallery. www.falmouthpacket.co.uk/ |
