Westcotts Gallery, St Ives, Summer Exhibitions

August 9th to August 31st   

Paintings of St Ives by Bernard and Audrey Evans, renowned for their paintings of Newlyn.

Also, Penwith Printmarkers and a general show of prints, by the famous post-war St Ives artists Sandra Blow, Terry Frost, Parick Heron, Alexander MacKenzie, Breon O'Casey, Bryan Pearce and John Wells.

Bernard and Audrey Evans will be exhibiting paintings and prints at the Westcotts Gallery in St Ives in summer 2010.

  • Bernard also has painting being exhibited at the Trelissick Gallery Truro through 2010.
  • Bernard exhibited at Christmas - New Year in the Three Galleries Exhibition 2010:
    • Great Atlantic Falmouth
    • Westcotts Gallery St Ives
    • Rainyday Gallery Penzance

    Bernard Evans exhibited at the Bristol Royal West of England Academy (RWA) from 31st May to July 5th in 2009 - exhibition was entitled:

    Cornish Perspectives  Newlyn Society of Artists - www.rwa.org.uk/curpro.htm

    Bernard also showed at the NSA (Newlyn Society of Artists) Drawing Show which took place at the Exchange Gallery in Penzance, July and August 2008.

    Bernard also has a number of paintings on show at the Trelissick Gallery, near Truro.

    The Brian Sinfield Gallery in Burford Oxon also has Bernard's work.

    Bernard will soon be showing work in the Small Works exhibitions at the Newlyn Gallery -November and December 2008, and the Small Works exhibition at the Exchange Gallery Penzance December and January 2008.

    Bernards work can also been seen in the RainyDay Gallery, Market Jew St in Penzance - www.rainydaygallery.co.uk 

    Bernard is also organising a show at a London Gallery - news of this will come in due course.

    A book by Ray Balkwill will be published in 2010 - to be launched in 2010 in Mousehole- on Cornish artists including Bernard Evans and Ken Howard.
