What is the aim of the website?
The aim of this site is to allow people to view Bernard Evans’s paintings and get the latest news on the art world, and it also allows people interested in art to find out more about Bernard Evans, his views on art and learn from his experiences.

Whose site is this?
This site was set up by Bernard Evans – the site is not sponsored by any business or art entity and is independent – the site is the individual website of Bernard Evans the artist.

Why was the website started?
It was started to provide people easy access to Bernard Evans’s art work as well to bring news items of interest to notice.

How many people visit the website?

This website was started mid 2009 and has rapidly expanding visitor base - currently ~220,000 visits a year (~650 visitors a day) with 7 million hits a year (~22,000 hits a day).

Painting Sales

Bernard Evans has painted about 250 Landscapes, 120 Cornish Life and 90 Cityscape oil paintings as well as over 300 Other paintings from foreign trips and watercolours, plus hundreds of sketches. Over 72% of the oil paintings have been sold into private hands - some 370 paintings, many of these in the last ten years through galleries, privately and via auctions. Bernard sold six oil paintings and a drawing in September 2011 for example. Bernard has secured sale of a further total six additional oil paintings in the first three weeks of October 2011. Some works are also being shown at the Tyler Gallery in Mousehole
